Ethiopian Ministry of Mines and Petroleum saidit has launched online in a bid to enhance the interaction between the government and businesses.
The State Minister, Assefa Kumsanoted that the online system will enable business companies to interact with the ministry online without physical contact within and out of the country.
The online system which is integrated with regional states will have of a paramount importance in saving time and finance.
The new system called “Landfolio” is different from the previous ‘FlexiCadastre,’ as it will enable making licenses of companies accurate and identifying the challenges encountered in the sector without difficulty.
The Government of Ethiopia has developed the online system in collaboration with the Canadian International Resources and Development Institute, it was learned.
Project Officer, Fistum Assefa on his part said that the system would help to advance the quality of its services in the country and promote the mineral resources through providing relevant information.
